Agnes Edda
Agnes Edda is a ceramicist and founder of Leir Studio. She focuses on simple, refined forms. Agnes graduated from the ceramics program at the Reykjavík School of Visual Arts in 2024, having worked with clay for several years before that. Alongside her studies she spent two years at Reykjavík Clay with ceramicist Birgitte Munck, where she also taught courses. She then completed a one-year apprenticeship in Copenhagen with ceramicist Maria Enæs.

Leir Studio is a ceramics studio opening in Reykjavík in autumn 2026. We run courses and events and offer studio membership.
The studio will be equipped with throwing wheels, a kiln, and good working facilities. Members will have access to all studio equipment, materials at cost, and regular firings.
